June Moments at Burpengary Manor Aged Care

At Burpengary Manor Aged Care, we believe in celebrating every moment and June 2025 was no exception! The month was filled with cheerful,community-focused activities designed to inspire creativity, connection, and fun for all.

We began with the uplifting sounds of a lively brass band performance, bringing energy and smiles to everyone’s day. This was beautifully balanced by peaceful and reflective dot painting sessions, offering residents a creative and calming outlet.

One of the month’s standout events was Italian Day, filled with the aroma of authentic home-style cooking, live music, and a joyful morning tea that brought a real sense of festivity to our home.

Our residents also loved our scenic outings, including ocean view bus trips, relaxing waterfront lunches, and peaceful drives through beautiful Beerwah; capped off with delicious ice cream treats!

Throughout the month, residents kept active and engaged with Zumba sessions, pampering mornings, live concerts, baking, knitting circles,and hands-on bird feeder workshops.

We were honoured to celebrate NAIDOC Week, with cultural dot painting and a moving visit from the Burpengary SDA Church, fostering learning,respect, and shared stories.

Each activity was a chance to connect, create, and enjoy the richness of community life. We’re grateful for every shared moment and look forward to even more meaningful experiences in the months ahead.
